The Department of Library, SDM College of Dental Sciences & Hospital, Dharwad, successfully organized a Training Program on Accessing E-Resources through EBSCO HOST on 23 April 2026 for postgraduate students.

The training session was conducted by Mr. M. S. Srinivas, Training Manager, EBSCO HOST, Bengaluru, who provided a comprehensive demonstration on effectively accessing and utilizing e-resources available through the EBSCO HOST database. The session focused on enhancing participants’ skills in literature searching, database navigation, and accessing scholarly resources for academic and research purposes.

A total of 30 postgraduate students actively participated in the program. The session enabled participants to gain valuable insights into digital information resources and strengthened their ability to efficiently use online databases to support their research and academic endeavors.

The program was well received and served as a valuable initiative in promoting information literacy and effective utilization of electronic resources among students.
