MASTER OF DENTAL SURGERY (MDS)
Eligibility for admission
A candidate for admission to the MDS Course must have a BDS Degree from a College and University Recognized by Dental Council of India, New Delhi or an Equivalent Qualification Recognized by the DCI.
Duration of the courses
The MDS course is of three years duration and students are required to be enrolled as full-time candidates.

2 MDS – Periodontology
3 MDS – Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery
4 MDS – Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics
5 MDS – Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopaedics
6 MDS – Oral & Maxillofacial Pathology & Oral Microbiology
7 MDS – Public Health Dentistry
8 MDS – Paedodontics & Preventive Dentistry
9 MDS – Oral Medicine and Radiology

Selection
Students are selected on the basis of the National Eligibility and Entrance Test (NEET). For all the above categories of Seats, the centralized counselling will be held by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) Government of Karnataka, Bangalore on the basis of NEET rank.
