At the 51st IDA Karnataka State Dental Conference, held from 31st October to 2nd November 2025 in Karwar, undergraduate students from the Department of Oral Medicine & Radiology achieved remarkable success under the guidance of Dr. Veena B. Pujari, Additional Associate Professor.

• Ms. Rafathbanu Kankudti
  Won the Best Scientific Paper Award for her paper titled:
  “Chairside Investigations in Dentistry.”

• Ms. Suhani Madar
  Received the Best Scientific Poster Award for her poster titled:
  “Shadows to Spotlight: Emerging Imaging Technologies for Oral Cancer Detection.”
