The orientation program for the 7th batch of Postgraduates at SDM University was successfully conducted on 8th October 2025.

The event was graced by Dr. Niranjan Kumar, Vice Chancellor of Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara University, Smt. Padmalatha Niranjan, Executive Director, Shri Saketh Shetty, Director of Administration, and Shri Jeevendhar Kumar, Pro-Vice Chancellor of Administration.

While addressing the students, Dr. Niranjan Kumar congratulated them for choosing SDM Dental College and emphasized the importance of discipline and dedication in their academic journey.

A total of 43 postgraduate students have joined the college to pursue MDS in various specialties. The program also featured inspiring talks by alumni Dr. Suraj Miskin (UG from SDMCDSH, currently a postgraduate in the Department of Orthodontics) and Dr. Subhangi Sinha (postgraduate from the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery), who shared their personal journeys of joining SDM Dental College. This was followed by a brief introduction session of the new postgraduates.
