The Department of Public Health Dentistry organized an Oral Health Screening Camp at JSS Shri Manjunatheshwara English Medium School, Mrutunjay Nagar, Dharwad, on 29th and 30th October 2025.

The dental team comprised Dr. Preetha J. Shetty, Dr. Shodan M (Faculty), Postgraduate students, and House Surgeons from the department.

A total of 960 students were screened during the two-day camp. The initiative aimed to promote oral health awareness among school children and identify common dental issues for early intervention.

The camp reflected the department’s ongoing commitment to community oral health and preventive dental care.
