The Department of Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry, SDM College of Dental Sciences & Hospital, conducted an Oral Health Education and Screening Camp on 30th July 2025 at Vishwesha Teertha Public School, Dharwad.

The dental team, led by Dr. Kirthi Honakeri, Associate Professor, Department of Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry, along with postgraduate students and house surgeons, screened 90 children. Comprehensive oral hygiene instructions were provided to the students to improve awareness and encourage healthy oral habits.

The interactive session helped motivate the children and proved highly beneficial in enhancing their knowledge about oral health.
