Induction Program at SDM Dental College:

The 5th Batch of Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara University and 38th Batch of Dental College consisting 100 Students were inducted to the SDM Dental College on 16th October, 2023. Dr. Niranjan Kumar, Vice Chancellor, Dr. Vasundhara Shivanna, Director, College of Dental Sciences, Davangere, Smt. Padmalatha Niranjan, Executive Director, Shri Saketh Shetty, Director Administration inaugurated the induction program by lighting the lamp. University Officials, Heads of the Institutions, Faculty and Students were present during the program.

The Chief Guest, Dr. Vasundhara Shivanna addressed the Students and told that:
• Dentistry is not just a Science, It is also an Art.
• This is a time to put foundation to future that Students are Proud of.
• Don’t put boundaries to face the Challenge, always discover the new things according to passion
• Always engage yourself in community services.

Vice Chancellor, Dr. Niranjan Kumar, told that
• Dentistry is a noble profession and aims to help people.
• You should love the work that you do.
• The purposeful practice can change Dentists life.
• Friends are like Jewels you have to earn it.
• Having Sympathy and Empathy to patients makes a good Doctor.
• Chancellor always believes in good Education & Patient care.

Dr. Balaram Naik, Principal, SDM Dental College, welcomed the Guests, Students and their Parents. Dr. Kiran Kumar, Student Welfare Officer introduced the Heads of the Departments. Dr. Atul Sattur, Prof. Oral Medicine & Radiology administered the Oath for the new Students. Dr. Niranjan K C, Prof. & Head Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology proposed the vote of thanks. Dr. Kaveri GS and Dr. Ramyashree, compered the program and introduced the Students.
