Inaugural Ceremony of the event “SDM’S GOT TALENT”, an online talent show, was held on 09.06.2021 at 09.30 am at Satsanga hall. The event started with an introduction by Dr. Divya Ann Mathews, an Intern, followed by lighting of the lamp by Honorable Vice-Chancellor Dr. Niranjan Kumar, Smt. Padmalatha Niranjan Kumar, Executive Director, Mr. Saketh Shetty, Director Administration, Principal Dr. Balaram D. Naik, Vice Principals Dr. Anand Tavargeri and Dr. Lekha K. Then the Dr. Shayari (Intern), lead us in prayer on the flute. Our beloved principal delivered the welcome address and kept the spirits of the event high by a motivating Bollywood number “Zindagi ki yahi reeth hain, Haar ke baad hi Jeet hain”. Guests of honor for the day Vice Chancellor Dr. Niranjan Kumar spoke about the significance of music in our culture and daily life and Smt. Padmalatha Niranjan Kumar, Executive Director officially commenced the event and recited a very melodious Carnatic Kriti based on Nataraja. The event then showcased a classical dance performed by Dr. Mythri (Intern) and concluded with vote of thanks by Dr. Vijay Trasad, the Cultural Secretary.
