The Department of Library, SDM College of Dental Sciences and Hospital, organized a guest lecture on “Turnitin: Reducing Similarity and Preventing Plagiarism in the Dissertation Box” on 27th January 2026 for postgraduate students and faculty members.

The session was delivered by Dr. Ravichandra, Chief Librarian, SDM College of Medical Sciences and Hospital, who provided an insightful demonstration on effectively using Turnitin for plagiarism detection and maintaining academic integrity.

The lecture was well received, with around 40 participants actively attending. Attendees appreciated the initiative as a highly valuable and informative session supporting academic research and dissertation writing.
