The Board of Studies, Faculty of Dental Sciences, organized a PG orientation guest lecture for first-year postgraduate students on 8th November 2025. The session was delivered by Dr. Sudhir Bhatbolan, Professor of Physiotherapy, SDM College of Physiotherapy, on the topic “Musculoskeletal Disorders, Ergonomics, and Basic Exercises for Dentists.”

The event was inaugurated by Principal Dr. Balram Naik, with Vice-Principal Dr. Anand Tavargere gracing the occasion. Dr. Harshavardhan Kidiyoor, Professor, Department of Orthodontics, welcomed the chief guest and coordinated the program, while Dr. Ravi Shirahatti introduced the speaker.

The lecture was attended by 40 first-year postgraduate students along with 15 faculty members and students from various departments.
