The Department of Prosthodontics marked Prosthodontist Day on 22nd January 2025 with a vibrant three-day celebration, blending patient care, advancements in the specialty, and engaging faculty activities.

Patient Care & Awareness Initiatives

🦷 The celebrations began on 20th January 2025 with a two-day Complete Denture Camp, where patients from Mundgod and Dandeli were educated about the importance of rehabilitating missing teeth.
🦷 Several patients received complete dentures, restoring their smiles, confidence, and quality of life.

Academic Enrichment: CDE Program on Implantology

📚 On 22nd January, the department hosted a Continuing Dental Education (CDE) program featuring Dr. Manisha Herekar, a renowned Prosthodontist & Implantologist from Belagavi.
📢 She delivered an insightful lecture on “Recent Trends in Implantology,” enlightening attendees about the latest advancements in the field.

Faculty Engagement: “Fun-O-Dontia” 🎭🎯

To add a touch of fun and camaraderie, the department organized “Fun-O-Dontia”, a light-hearted event where faculty members from various specialties participated in interactive games, including:
🎲 “Props Pickle” – A creative challenge using prosthodontic tools
🎨 “Articulate Yourself” – Featuring Pictionary and Dumb Charades with dental terms
