In accordance with UGC guidelines, our institution observed Anti-Ragging Day and Week, with the inaugural ceremony held on 12th August 2025.

The event was graced by Mr. Mallikarjun Hosur, Sub-Inspector, and Mr. Shivaji Salunke, Assistant Sub-Inspector from Vidyagiri Police Station, Dharwad, who were warmly felicitated by our Principal, Dr. Balaram Naik.

Both officers addressed the gathering and delivered an insightful session on the importance of anti-ragging awareness. They highlighted key aspects of the NDPS Act, POSCO Act, and the legal implications of ragging, stressing on penalties and imprisonment for violations.

The program was attended by Heads of Departments, 30 fresh MDS students (Batch 2025–26), and interns of the 2020–21 Batch.

The session concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Mahantesh Yeli, who expressed gratitude to the dignitaries and guest speakers for sharing their valuable knowledge.
