72^nd Republic Day Celebration:  Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara University Celebrates Country’s 72^nd Republic Day on 26^th January 2021.  The formal function was held at SDM Dental College Premises.  The Chief Guest of the function, Dr Niranjan Kumar, the Vice Chancellor, SDM University unfurled the National Flag.

In his Republic Day message, Dr. Niranjan Kumar appealed the gathering that we all at SDM should work hard to build the nation even stronger and stronger.  We must protect our rich industrial heritage, Cultural heritage and strong economy of our nation.  Actually there is no poverty in India, The good Education and culture can change our country and make a India very strong.  When some of our neighbours are trying to attack us, we produce the Vaccine for the entire world.  During Corona, the entire world looked at India, how we managed situation nicely. 

Even from the beginning India was called Mother of World; Mother of Languages.  We are spiritually, religiously very strong.  We have to maintain our respect and we ourselves called as Great India.  We have produced the best of the doctors to the World.  Even in the present US Government there 20 great Indians from different fields are there.  This shows India’s capability.  

To witness the colourful Republic Day function, Senior University Officials, Heads of the Constituent Institutions, faculty, staff and students were participated in a big number.  The Security Contingent headed by Mr Dharnendra Pakkal took the Guard of honour from the Chief Guest
