SDM Dental College, Dharwad had its Orientation Program for the 38 new Post Graduate students of different specialties of Batch 2020-23.

Chief Guest, Dr Niranjan Kumar, Vice Chancellor of Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara University, Guest of Honor, Mrs Padmalatha Niranjan, Executive Director & Board of Governors and Principal of the SDM Dental College, Dr Balaram Naik inaugurated the Orientation program by lighting the lamp.

At a function, Dr. Balaram D. Naik, welcomed the Guests and the new students to the wonderful SDM Campus. He also emphasized the Dreams to complete from the gap between “where we are now to where we will be ….. “ He also briefed the students about the four Danas offered by the larger Dharmasthala Group, i.e.: Vidhyadana, Annadana, Aushadhadana and Abhayadana.

Dr. Niranjan Kumar, Vice Chancellor of SDM University addressed the students and told to continue the same enthusiasm and discipline throughout their course and to maintain the discipline to become good dentist. He also stressed the students to nurture and get train in this Nature with Ethics and Truths under the SDMs wonderful faculty, infrastructure and patients.

Dr. S. K. Joshi, Sri Jeevandhar Kumar, the Pro Vice Chancellors, Registrar, Dr. (Lt. Col.) U. S. Dinesh, Deputy Director (Administration), Mr. Saketh Shetty and Heads of the Constituent Units were present.

Dr. Kavya compered the program and Dr. Shruthi Patil proposed the vote of thanks. Dr. Sagar invoked the almighty God.

A brief film about campus was presented to the students to understand the campus facilities.
