SDM College of Dental Sciences & Hospital proudly celebrates the international recognition earned by its undergraduate students at the 5th International Dental Students Conference (IDSC) and the 5th Wikipedia Collaboration of Dental Schools (WCODS) Conference 2025, held in association with the University of Dundee, Malaysia, on 3rd and 4th May 2025 in hybrid mode.

The research presentations by three undergraduate students were selected and received wide appreciation at the conference:

🔹 Mr. Nandan presented a paper titled
“Assessing Patient Knowledge on Tongue Coating, Tongue Cleaning, and Oral Malodor: A Questionnaire-Based Study”

🔹 Ms. Mehak presented a paper titled
“Is Agent Selection Crucial in Laser-Assisted Treatment of Dentinal Hypersensitivity? A Desensitizing Dilemma”
Mentor: Dr. Akanksha Kidiyur Sathish, Assistant Professor, Department of Periodontology

🔹 Ms. Madhu presented a paper titled
“Analysis of Cervicovertebral Relationship and Position of Hyoid Bone in Patients with TMJ Disorders: A CBCT-Based Retrospective Study”
