The Department of Public Health Dentistry recently organized an oral health education and screening camp at Jnanajyothi Vidyalaya in Kamalapur, Dharwad. This initiative aimed to promote oral health awareness and provide preliminary dental check-ups for students.

Activities Conducted:

• Oral Health Education: Dr. Priya conducted a comprehensive oral health education session for 300 students, focusing on the importance of maintaining good oral hygiene and healthy habits.
• Screening: The team performed oral health screenings for all 300 students. Those in need of further dental treatment received referral cards for SDM College of Dental Sciences and Hospital (SDMCDSH) for specialized care.

The camp was a successful step towards enhancing oral health awareness and providing essential care to young students in the community.
