Oral Health Education, Screening, and Treatment Camp at Kurubgatti, Dharwad

The Department of Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry conducted an Oral Health Education, Screening, and Treatment Camp at Government High School, Kurubgatti, Dharwad.

A dedicated dental team, led by Dr. Kirthi Honakeri, Assistant Professor, Department of Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry, along with postgraduate students and house surgeons, screened 149 students and provided free dental treatment to 64 students.

As part of the initiative, Dr. Kirthi Honakeri delivered an informative talk on oral health to educate students about preventive dental care. Additionally, to enhance awareness of dental trauma among children, a Trauma Guideline Poster was presented to the school principal as a valuable resource for students and staff.
