The Department of Public Health Dentistry at SDM College of Dental Sciences and Hospital (SDMCDSH) conducted an Oral Health Education, Screening, and Treatment Camp at Belgaum District on 27th September 2024, in collaboration with SKDRDP.

The dedicated dental team, led by Dr. Shodan M, included postgraduate students Dr. Joel Koshy, Dr. Waseemuddin Tirandaz, and house surgeons Dr. Meghadarshini S, Dr. Megha Patil, Dr. Minchu, Dr. Noel, Dr. Pavitra, and Dr. Namrata Miskin.

During the camp, oral health screening was provided to 170 individuals, while 58 patients received treatments such as cleaning, fillings, and extractions. Those requiring additional treatments were referred to SDMCDSH for further care through referral cards.
