The Department of Public Health Dentistry organized an Oral Health Education, Screening, and Treatment Camp at Amminabhavi on 13th December.

The dental team, led by Dr. Hema T. S., Additional Associate Professor, included postgraduate students and house surgeons from the department.

During the camp:

• Oral health screening was conducted for a total of 473 individuals.
• Treatment services were provided to 62 patients.
• Participants requiring further treatment were referred to SDM College of Dental Sciences and Hospital (SDMCDSH) with referral cards for follow-up care.

This initiative reflects the department’s commitment to promoting oral health and accessibility to dental care in the community.
