A hands-on workshop and demonstration on the use of dental lasers was conducted on 23rd January 2025 for the house-surgeons posted in the Department of Periodontics at SDM Dental College.

Dr. Purva Bakshi and Dr. Jyothi Kapse, Assistant Professors, led the session, engaging students in:

• The application of dental lasers in various periodontal procedures
• Understanding different laser devices and their settings
• Practical demonstration and hands-on experience

The workshop was well received by the students, providing them with valuable insights into the clinical use of lasers in periodontics.
