The Department of Library, SDM College of Dental Sciences & Hospital, organized a guest lecture on March 18, 2025, for postgraduate students and faculty members on the topic “Turnitin – Checking Similarity in Your Dissertation.”

The session was delivered by Dr. Ravichandra, Chief Librarian, SDM College of Medical Sciences & Hospital, Dharwad, who provided an insightful demonstration on the effective use of Turnitin software for plagiarism detection and academic integrity.

The lecture was well-received, with around 50 participants actively attending the session. The attendees appreciated the initiative, recognizing it as a valuable and informative session for academic research and dissertation writing.
