Ms. Mehak Bhala, a 3rd-year BDS student, secured first place in the online scientific paper presentation at ‘Quest 9.0’ – The Graduate Dental Science Extravaganza, organized by the International Dental Educationists Association and the Coorg Institute of Dental Sciences, Virajpet, held between 24th to 25th February 2025, in a hybrid mode.

Her paper, titled “Investigating the Wound Healing Potential of Human Placental Extract Gel After Gingival Depigmentation”, was presented under the expert guidance of Dr. Akanksha Kidiyur Sathish, Assistant Professor, Department of Periodontics.
