Dr. Ashith B. Acharya, Professor and Head, Department of Forensic Odontology, SDM College of Dental Sciences & Hospital, was invited to conduct a specialized training session on digital analysis of bite mark evidence on 6–7 April 2026 at Yenepoya Dental College, Mangaluru, Karnataka.

The training was organized as part of the institution’s Value-Added Course in Forensic Odontology and was attended by more than 20 dentists and dental house-surgeons. Dr. Acharya also graced the inaugural ceremony as the Chief Guest on 6 April 2026.

The programme provided participants with valuable insights into contemporary forensic odontology practices and advanced digital techniques used in bite mark analysis.
