The Department of Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry conducted a dental camp on 12 February 2026 at Lion’s School, Dharwad.

The dental team, led by Dr. Priya Meharwade, Associate Professor, along with postgraduate students and house surgeons, carried out oral health screening for 53 students. Oral hygiene instructions were provided, and students were advised to visit SDM Dental College for further care and treatment.

As part of an awareness initiative on dental trauma among children, a Trauma Guideline Poster was presented to the School Principal.

This program contributed to promoting oral health awareness and preventive care among school children.
