The Department of Periodontics, SDM College of Dental Sciences & Hospital conducted a screening and awareness camp at the District Hospital (Department of OBG), Dharwad on the occasion of International Women’s Day 2026.

An awareness session on women’s oral health was delivered by Dr. Jyothi Kapse, highlighting the importance of maintaining good oral hygiene and addressing periodontal concerns faced by women at different stages of life. The program included patient screening, distribution of educational pamphlets, and oral care samples.

The event was attended by Dr. Monika Goswamy, Dr. Swati Setty, and Dr. Girija Arishinagodi, along with interns and postgraduate students.
