Dr. Neha Gadakari, Ph.D. scholar from the Department of Oral Medicine & Radiology, secured the Second Prize in the Faculty Paper Presentation at the 36th National IAOMR Conference, held at D Y Patil Deemed to be University, Nerul, Navi Mumbai, from 21st–23rd November 2025.

Her award-winning paper, titled
“The Gut–Oral Axis in OLP: A Randomized Controlled Trial on the Synergistic Effects of Probiotics and Topical Steroids,”
was presented under the guidance of Dr. Venkatesh Naikmasur, Professor, Department of Oral Medicine & Radiology.
