Department of Oral Medicine and Radiology

The Department of Oral Medicine and Radiology celebrated International Radiology Day with a vibrant week-long series of events held from 3rd to 7th November 2025. The theme for this year’s celebration was “Radiographers: Seeing the Unseen.”

Student & Faculty Competitions

A variety of competitions were organized for undergraduate students, postgraduate students, interns, faculty, and supporting staff:

• Painting Competition – Judged by Dr. Raju Naik

• E-Poster Competition – Judged by Dr. Shantala Arunkumar

• Short Reels Competition – Judged by Dr. Kruthika Guttal

Additional interactive events included:

• Quiz Competition for third-year undergraduate students, conducted by Dr. Megha Mary George

• Pictionary Competition for faculty, conducted by Dr. Veena Pujari

• Rangoli Competition for supporting staff, judged by Dr. Vijaylaxmi Basavareddi

Valedictory Function

The week concluded with a valedictory ceremony on 8th November 2025, inaugurated by the Principal, Dr. Balaram Naik. Prizes were awarded to all the winners, marking a successful and engaging celebration of radiology and its vital role in healthcare.
