Dr. Ravi Shirahatti, Professor and Head, Department of Public Health Dentistry, SDM College of Dental Sciences & Hospital, was invited as a Guest Speaker to conduct a Faculty Development Program at Triveni Institute of Dental Sciences, Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh on 21st and 22nd April 2025.

The program, titled “Innovative Teaching, Need-Based Curriculum and Valid Assessment in Dental Education,” was attended by over 35 faculty members from the institution. Dr. Shirahatti shared his expertise on modern pedagogical methods and academic assessment frameworks, receiving excellent feedback from participants.

Following this, on 23rd April 2025, Dr. Shirahatti conducted a Postgraduate Orientation Program on “Literature Search and Manuscript Preparation”, attended by 40 postgraduate students. The session provided valuable insights into research methodology and academic writing.
