Mehak Bhala, 3rd year BDS student, secured the first place in the paper presentation in her session. She also won the overall best paper in the Periodontology category. The topic of the paper was “Redefining Healing- Application of Placental Extract Gel following Laser Gingival Depigmentation”. She was led and guided by Dr. Akanksha Kidiyur Sathish, Assistant Professor, Department of Periodontics.

Allum Amogh and Rishita Anajwala (third year undergraduates) won first prize for the poster titled ‘regenerative dentistry revolutionary differentiation of undifferentiated cells’ under the guidance of Dr. Sharmila, Dept of Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics.

Ritwik P H, Siri G (third year undergraduates) won first prize for the poster titled ‘Photobiomodulation Therapy for faster healing and tissue regeneration in the Oral Cavity’ under the guidance of Dr. Kaveri Hallikeri, Professor Dept. of Oral Pathology and Microbiology

Darshika Agarwal 3rd year BDS student won first prize for the paper titled ‘virtual surgical planning (vsp) in maxillofacial onco-surgery a bridging era of digital dentistry and its surgical outcomes’ under the guidance of Dr. Venkatesh Anehosur, Professor& Head & Dr. Akshay AB, Assistant Professor, Dept. of Oral and maxillofacial surgery.

B Sindhura Sai Reddy 3rd year BDS student won first prize for paper titled micro dentistry: a trend towards minimally invasive procedures in restorative care under the guidance of Dr. Kaveri Hallikeri, Professor Dept. of Oral Pathology and Microbiology.
