Workshop on Basics of Biomedical and Clinical Research Design

A Workshop on Basics of Biomedical and Clinical Research Design was successfully conducted from 2nd to 4th January 2025 at SDM College of Dental Sciences and Hospital, Dharwad.

The workshop was organized by the Department of Public Health Dentistry, in association with the Central Research Laboratory, SDM College of Medical Sciences, and the Research Directorate, Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara University, Dharwad.

Participation and Inauguration

The event saw the enthusiastic participation of 25 delegates, including PhD scholars and faculty from various sister institutions of SDM University, such as:

Highlights of the Inaugural Address

Shri Saketh Shetty emphasized the importance of viewing existing practices with an open mind and innovating solutions through research.
Dr. Chindendra M. Shettar spoke about the pivotal role of research in advancing patient care within biomedical sciences.
Dr. Balram Naik highlighted the institutional support and ongoing research activities at SDM.

The dignitaries were welcomed by Dr. Ravi Shirahatti, while Dr. Vishwas Kaveeshwar proposed the vote of thanks, and Dr. ZebaAfroz Shaikh anchored the event.
