The Induction Day programme for the 2024-25 batch of 1st BDS students was successfully organized on 8th October 2024 at Hamsa Dhani, SDM College of Dental Sciences & Hospital (SDMCDSH). The event was attended by 89 newly admitted students along with their parents, faculty members, non-teaching, and support staff.

- Welcome Address: Dr. Balaram Naik warmly welcomed the newly joined students into the SDM family.

- Blessings: The Chancellor, Pujya Shri Dr. D. Veerendra Hegde, blessed the students through an online address.
- Oath Ceremony: Dr. Lekha K.P. administered the oath to the students.
- Lucky Dip: A lucky dip was organized with sponsorship by Sapna Book House, adding an exciting element to the event.
- Vote of Thanks: Dr. Kaveri Hallikeri concluded the programme with a heartfelt vote of thanks.
Additionally, a Medical Textbook Exhibition and Sale was organized by Sapna Book House in front of the auditorium, providing students with an opportunity to explore essential academic resources.
