The Department of Public Health Dentistry organized an Oral Health Education, Screening, and Treatment Camp at Shiggaon on 12th July 2024, in association with the National Oral Health Programme (NOHP). The camp aimed to raise awareness about oral health and provide necessary dental care to the community.

During the camp, oral health screenings were conducted for 177 individuals. Treatments, including cleaning, fillings, and extractions, were provided to 65 patients. Those requiring further dental treatments were referred to SDM College of Dental Sciences & Hospital (SDMCDSH) through referral cards.

This initiative reflects our commitment to improving oral health in the community and ensuring access to essential dental services.
