Induction Programme for first year BDS

A splendid environment filled the auditorium of SDM College of Dental Sciences & Hospital on the twenty third of August, 2010. The aspiring new students and their parents were for sure the source for this energy. They were keenly waiting for the arrival of the dignitaries that day. An induction program like what was arranged by our institute is a well appreciated tradition for many years now. Our beloved Director Professor C. Bhasker Rao delivered an inspirational speech followed by a warm welcome extended by Principal Professor Shrinath Thakur. The faculty of both Dental and Medical schools were also the part of this gathering. The enthusiastic students were presented discipline booklet and a rose by the dignitaries on the dais to join the family of SDM College.  Student enjoyed introducing themselves in front of the audience. The most important part of the orientation program is having a part of students’ exposed to basic life support training. Orientation program also concentrated on the personality development and stress management lectures by eminent people in the respective fields. An interactive session was held between the Dean Academics, Professor K. V. V. Prasad, the students and their parents so as to enhance the knowledge on the curriculum and the other academic activities designed for the completion of the course
